This is definitely one of my absolute favorite one-year-old shoots ever! Harper's mama, Jenna, had the idea to do a cute little tea party for Harper's first birthday photoshoot, and I'm obsessed with how it came out! Also, I can't believe she is already one- her newborn shoot was just last month wasn't it?!
I'll never get over the beauty of new babies. Sweet little Emily was sound asleep during the majority of her newborn shoot, and even when she was awake she didn't mind the camera in front of her face. Such a good model. :) I did her parents' maternity session just a couple months ago (see that here) so it was nice to be able to meet her on this side of the world! Here's a few of my favorites from the shoot, and by the way.. how beautiful is their home?!
When your mom is a professional event planner & floral designer (Oh Darling Events), your birthday parties are pretty much the prettiest. Harper turned 2 last month and Kristin created the most perfect boho-themed backyard party! [The gorgeous farmhouse table is from DaniLyn Vintage Rentals.]
Okay you guys, I think whole puppy portrait thing needs to happen more. Michelle wanted to do a shoot with her puppy Reece while they were in FL and I jumped on the opportunity. It might've been a little hectic bringing my own puppy along to the shoot, but... you live and learn. Thank goodness for my sister Erika and friend Shell for helping with the pups! I can't get over how smiley Reece is- such a cutie!
I met this sweet family about 5 years ago. They were vacationing in Sarasota with their granddaughters and we did some portraits on the beach to capture some memories of their trip. When they contacted me again last month to do a similar shoot, I was so excited! They added another granddaughter since then and it's so amazing to be able to see families grow and change. I am so excited to share this beautiful engagement session! Benji and Angela are really good friends of ours and I LOVE that they fell in love! What's better than two of your friends getting married?! Corey and I spent a weekend in St. Augustine with them last month and did their engagement shoot while exploring the city and seeing their venue (which is absolutely amazing- can't wait until their wedding!). On the evening we had planned to shoot, it was storming pretty hard, but when that passed through we ended up doing a few photos in the moody-after-storm light. The next morning was beautiful and sunny so we did part 2! Look out for their wedding coming later this year! Yay!
